Wordless Monday...

Big sister...little sister...

Since I'm having another girl, there isn't much I need to buy... I have so much clothes from Olivia and our house is already filled with pink... So I have just bought a few t-shirts for the Big Sister and cute matching onesie/shirt for them to wear at the same time.. Here are the pics.. so cute! I can't wait to dress them alike! ;)

A visit to the Miami Children's Museum

Today we visited the Miami Children's Museum for the first time.... it was wonderful...
The museum is located near the Port of Miami, right by the water so it makes it even better. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and Olivia was in a great mood. She had so much fun going through all the exhibits and playing with other kids. We stayed at the museum for a couple of hours and then Olivia played at the museum park, located right outside. It was such a fun Saturday. Here are some of the pictures I took today during our visit to the museum.
Olivia riding the Miami Police motorcycle.

Play area for the kids to "pretend" play.

The big slide.. she wouldn't go down on her own, so daddy had to bring her.. so cute!

Olivia playing in the music area....

A little fun at the museum park....

I love this picture!!

Blurry and all, one of my all-time favorite pictures of our baby girl! I just love her!

...and the search goes on...

As I posted a couple of days ago, I continue to struggle with finding the "perfect" double stroller, one that we both love and are crazy about...
I decided to take Iggy to the store to look at all the strollers I've been considering and to finally get some input from the daddy...He didn't like the Sit-N-Stands at all and thinks they're too heavy (I happen to agree), so he decided to look more deeply into my first choice, the Phil & Ted's stroller...
After trying out the one I had suggested, he started looking at the other Phil & Ted's strollers and found another two that he really likes... pictures below...
This is the Sport buggy, the first one I looked at....It's about $500 and weighs 23lbs (not bad for a double) This one is the Dash, which I also happen to like. It is $679 and a couple of pounds lighter.. also very hip! After seeing this one, I decided I like it even better than the sport buggy.. but it is a little pricey...

Finally this is the Vibe, which is the one Iggy likes best. It is almost $700 and a bit heavier, but he insists it looks more sturdy and durable... Not sure if it's worth spending that much money, but we'll see...
So, here I am, even more confused than I was before... I find that I really like those Phil & Ted's strollers, but I'm still not "in love" with any of them... they seem so hard to maneuver and just so bulky... Any suggestions?

Another great day at the park...

With such nice weather it's hard to turn down a stroll in the park, especially since Olivia loves those kiddie parks so much... I think it's so cute that she even knows we're driving to the park, way before we get there... She starts saying "Parque" (which means Park in Spanish) and once I park the car, she starts clapping... so cute!
We were at the park yesterday with my friend Pechy and her daughter Melissa and had such a great time. Olivia is officially a pro at sliding down the big slides and jumping on the swings...My nice Erika also came along with my mom, who was hanging out with me all afternoon... The girls had a blast.. and I enjoyed a nice sunny afternoon!

My endless search for the "perfect" double stroller...

So...the idea is finally setting in, in just 4 short months (or less) we will have another baby, so our days will be split between our gorgeous Olivia and her little sister... It's been hard getting used to the idea of sharing my love between two children and even harder to adapt our space to welcome our new little one in such short amount of time...
One of the hardest tasks so far has been finding a double stroller that I love... So far I have a few options but there's always "ifs and buts" to every one of my choices. Some of them are too pricey, some are too bulky, some are too heavy or maybe too uncomfortable. I'm having such a hard time choosing the "perfect" double stroller. Here are some of the options that I have been exploring...

Phil & Ted's Sport Buggy. This one is about $500; it is my first choice although it's pricey. I like it because it's very light weight and very funky and different...

The Sit-N-Stand Plus. This one is less than $200 and it is compatible with the infant carrier that we have, so we could save ourselves some money. It can be bulky but at least both babies will be comfortable...
The Sit-N-Stand Elite. This one is about $190 and it converts to a regular Sit-N-Stand once the older baby gets bigger. It's really heavy and bulky but comfy for both girls!

So far, those are my top three choices. We have yet to try the strollers at the store since most of my research has been done online... Any suggestions???
