I have been proudly teaching catechism for over 15 years...it all started when I was 14 and went on Catholic missions to teach the less privileged and help spread the word of God..
Then I moved to the US and started teaching CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) at my local church.. So for the past 16 years, I have taught kids from 1st thru 8th grade and it has been such an amazing journey.
This year I had a smaller group (only 9 kids, some are missing in the picture), but it was specially challenging since the kids were overly active and easily distracted..but I prevailed and they will be receiving their First Communion in less than two weeks....
I was lucky to have an amazing assistant/partner, who helped me so much with the kids. I will always be thankful to Mrs. Rossi and her daughter Nicole for supporting me during this very challenging year as a CCD teacher..
Here is another of picture of my "angels" on their last CCD class...
