Summer Break: Week 8

This is it!!! The last weeks of our summer... I can't believe this fun time of the year is coming to an end so soon!! It feels like just yesterday the kids were saying good bye to their teachers and friends and here we are, almost ready to say hello to them again!  (I'm sure my sister, who is a kindergarten teacher, doesn't feel this way! LOL)

Here are some pictures from our 8th week of summer... We did a lot of outdoor play in spite of the hot weather and the girls sure enjoyed it...
My cat followed me everywhere as usual and I snapped this cute picture of her laying int he grass in our yard! How cute is she!?!?!

We did some crafts projects, including some Ninja Turtle bows.  The movie is scheduled to come out this coming Friday and the girls (Gaby in particular) are SO EXCITED about it so they want to be as ready as possible to sport their TMNT look! Here's a picture of one of the bows we made! :)

A cute picture of Olivia with one of our cats!

We ate out a couple of nights this week and the girls enjoyed it very much!  Even though they really enjoy mommy's cooking, they're always up for a night out...

This week, the girls participated in a tennis/golf summer camp; they had a blast playing there and they really seem to be getting into these sports, which we are very proud of, of course!
Here's a few pictures of them on the last day of camp...

At the end of the session, there was an award ceremony. Gaby got the "Cutest Girl" award and Olivia got "Most Positive"; both wonderful awards and we were happy to witness that!

I even got some time to relax on the hammock we bought in Panama.. that was definitely the highlight of my week!

And of course we had the girls' birthday party this week too, but that deserves a post of its own.
In the meantime and because I have no idea when I'll have time to post about the party, here's a sneak peek of what our party looked like.  It was a beautiful tennis themed, pink and green celebration, which I am very happy to share.  More pictures and details to come!

That's it for this week.  Happy Blogging! :)
