With that out of the way, I must admit that I'm totally guilty of neglecting my blog for the past few days, but I have a valid excuse, or excuses... Not only was I on vacation, but the internet connection in Venezuela was so slow that it made it extremely frustrating to post any updates and/or pictures...
So here I am again.. back at it.. and I love it!
We got back yesterday after a less than pleasant flight and several hurdles during the trip.. I was so exhausted that I think I lost track of time...
The last few days of our trip were pretty eventful, we had a very busy schedule.
On Tuesday Dec. 29th, I got a haircut, nothing too radical but I liked it...

We got to hang out with Iggy's dad a couple of times... he took us to a great restaurant and Iggy even got to play golf with him one day..what fun! He was fascinated by Gaby...it was the first time he met her!
We were in Caracas for the New Year. We had a wonderful time with family and enjoyed some very yummy food... it was great to greet the new year with great expectations together as a family... Both girls stayed up past midnight and shared the joy...
We also got to hang out with some friends.. Here we are with Maria Laura, daughter of some family friends dating back to my mom and dad....We had breakfast at their house the day before we came back....
I also got to hang out with some of my high school friends.. Here I am with my friend Patty, whom I've known since we were 6 years old... It was great to see her and hang out with her for a day...
We did many things but I would never finish writing if I told them all. All in all we had a good time... BUT.. I'm so glad to be home and sleep in my bed again!
It's cold here in Florida today.. According to what I hear, it has been cold for the past few days... hopefully the nice weather will stick around for a bit!
