The end of a chapter...

I never thought it'd be so difficult to walk through an empty house and help someone pack their stuff and move... well.. it turns out that helping my parents pack and move has been the most difficult thing I've had to do...
The end of the chapter where my parents live in the same town I do, is quickly approaching and I am incredibly sad... I always hoped this day would never come...
As some of you know, due to work reasons, my dad has been living in Auburn for over a month now and my mom will be driving up (either today or tomorrow) along with my sister and niece to finally relocate as well...
I am staying behind here in South Florida and I know that things will never be the same... I have been really lucky to have them around for so long and I'm still not ready to accept the fact that they will no longer be around the corner and that I will have to either catch a plane or drive 10 hours to see them or simply hug them!
I know I sound very dramatic but I am extremely close to my parents and really wish this wasn't happening... I will miss them so much and will cry a lot for the first few weeks, maybe months...
I really hope that God gives me the wisdom to understand His will and pray that my parents' life will only get better and better as a result of this relocation...
I also hope I can visit them very soon and spend some quality time with them in their new home!

Adri!!
you are not being overdramatic... our parents are our angels here on earth... God has placed them in our lives to love care and nurture us in the physical... i totally understand your pain and would be a wreck if i had to pack my own parents up and help them move out of state... dont worry though God has a plan and you are in my prayers.. he will give you the strength you need to get through this as well as put peace in your heart...

Awww... I'm sad for you. I too am very close to my parents and brother and could not imagine them all leaving town. I hope you find the strength to find your new "normal". Thinking of you...
