Remembering 9/11

It seems hard to believe that 8 years have passed since our country was attacked by terrorists... it was such a sad day and every 9/11 will be a sad day, because we will remember the many innocent lives that were lost on that horrible day...
Most Americans feel hate for the people who attacked us and they resent the fact that we were attacked for "no reason".. I, however, feel pity for those who followed the commands of a certain "god" that seems more evil than anything that exists...
Ironically enough, today is not such a sad day in our family; it is my father in law's 62nd birthday and it is also the day in which my parents and sister will attend their "Oath Ceremony" and will become American citizens... how appropriate, huh?
So today, let's all take a minute to remember what happened on 9/11/01 and honor those victims and families and also let's pray that everyone who feels hate in this world is healed by the power of God and the goodness of existence...
