Olivia's first day of school!

After much thought, Iggy and I decided to register Olivia in a pre-school. We think it's in her best interest to interact with other kids her age and to have some kind of structure as far as activities, nap time, meal time, etc....
Since we had such a bad daycare experience a few months ago, we were very skeptical, however, our good friends Hugo and Rosanna strongly recommended the school, since their daughter Isabella has been attending there for over a year and they have had a great experience! I hope our experience is just as good as theirs...
So, yesterday was her first day and it went fairly well. I dressed her in the morning and she was fascinated with her uniform, she kept pointing at her new shirt and was in love with the school logo... too cute... I, of course, took a bunch of pictures...as expected!
We dropped her off around 8:30am and all of the kids in the classroom clapped as she entered so she felt very special.. She did pout and cry a bit when she saw me walk away, but I guess it was expected...
I called the school around 10:30am to check on her and I was informed she was doing wonderfully... Her teacher told me that she was talking away and making friends...typical "Olivia" behavior.
I then picked her up around 4pm and she seemed to be well adjusted. When I got there, she was helping her teacher and playing with a little girl.. I thought it was so cute...
She got in the car and said "more school"... so I have to assume she enjoyed the experience... I hope she keeps the good attitude going!
I also hope that being in school will help her be better behaved and a bit more obedient.
Wish us luck!
